Welcome to the Neighborhood Church “We take our worship seriously but our atmosphere is relaxed!” The Neighborhood Church is a non-denominational, Bible-based, Christ-centered house church community. We meet primarily in Stamford Ct, with occasional gatherings in Darien and Greenwich. Seeking to shed the complications of budgets, building maintenance, church politics, and long “business meetings, we want to be a “New Testament Church,” to focus on Jesus and our experiences with Him. We want to create a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere that will make newcomers feel welcome. We would love for you to come visit us! We are families, couples and singles, intergenerational, and from a variety of personal and faith backgrounds and circumstances. Some of us attend more traditional churches on Sunday morning. We share a fierce passion to grow as individuals and as a Christian community, to serve others in Jesus’ name through mission-giving that requires our time as well as our treasure, and to encourage the formation of other local house churches throughout Fairfield County, CT and beyond.
